Standard Mode

The goal of the game is to guess the unknown player.

To start, you'll be shown three players the unknown player was teammates with at some point in their career. Their uniforms may not match a team they actually shared with the unknown player.

With each incorrect guess, additional hints are revealed:

  1. The unknown player's position(s)
  2. The years the unknown player was active in MLB
  3. Names of the unknown player's teammates
  4. The teams the first teammate shared with the unknown player
  5. The teams the second teammate shared with the unknown player
  6. The teams the third teammate shared with the unknown player

After 7 incorrect guesses, the game ends and the unknown player is revealed.

What the colors mean

Every guess shows how your player connects to each of the three teammates - compared to how the mystery player actually connects to them:

Teammate 1Exact match - your guess shared a team with them during the same year(s) that connect them to the mystery player. If all three teammates turn green at once, that's the answer.
Teammate 1Partial match - your guess really did play with them at some point, but not during the specific year(s) that connect to the mystery player. Right relationship, wrong stint.
Teammate 1No connection - your guess never played with them at all.
